A Summer of Discovery with EcoKids 2026

2 min read

Summer is where curiosity grows wild. At New Leaf Collaborative, we believe learning does not pause when school ends. It expands. Our 2026 EcoKids Summer Workshops invite youth to step outside, get their hands in the soil, explore local ecosystems, and discover how each of us plays a role in caring for the Earth. It is hands on, it is active, and it is designed to spark a lifelong connection to the natural world. Growth begins here.

Get ready for an exciting outdoor adventure. At EcoKids summer workshops, your child will dive into outdoor activities that help them connect with nature, explore cool ecosystems, and understand how we all play a part in taking care of the Earth. It is all about having fun, making new friends, and learning by doing. Through guided exploration, creative projects, and team challenges, campers build confidence while deepening their environmental awareness.

You asked and we listened. This year’s EcoKids Workshops are bigger and better. Each session now lasts an extra hour and includes an additional day of programming, giving campers even more time to explore and engage. We are also launching our first EcoKids Leadership Workshop for youth entering 7th through 9th grades. This new experience is designed to help older students strengthen leadership skills, mentor younger peers, and take a more active role in environmental stewardship.

Here is what is ahead for Summer 2026. Register before May 1 for early bird pricing.

  • EcoKids Leadership Workshop for youth entering 7th through 9th grades takes place Tuesday, June 16 through Thursday, June 18 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

  • EcoKids Workshop Week 1 for youth entering 2nd through 6th grades runs Tuesday, June 23 through Friday, June 26 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

  • EcoKids Workshop Week 2 for youth entering 2nd through 6th grades runs Tuesday, July 7 through Friday, July 10 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

What truly sets EcoKids apart is the mentorship. Our trained high school and college aged youth mentors, many of them proud EcoKids alumni, guide campers each day and help ensure every child feels supported, included, and inspired. These near peer role models create a powerful learning environment where leadership and community grow side by side.

Spots fill quickly each year. If you are looking for a summer experience that blends outdoor adventure, environmental education, and meaningful connection, EcoKids is ready to welcome your family. Growth begins here, and it continues all summer long.
