This past year brought some of our toughest challenges. Most notably, in early September, we mourned the loss of our longtime science educator and comrade, Paul Stroube, whose deep love for science and for our program youth left a lasting mark. Filling his shoes seemed insurmountable, but our devoted team of educators stepped up and made sure Community Science Workshops went on. Through it all, our NLC team made a significant impact on our community, sparking curiosity in over 4,000 local youth through hands-on science, garden, and environmental learning experiences. Thank you for being part of our journey!
